This program (both in-person and virtual) is open to industry tax professionals from both COST Member and Non-COST Member Companies. CLE/CPE will be available to each registered individual. Please note – the In-Person Meeting will contain more sessions than the Virtual Webinar. 

This program is for someone with all levels of state and local tax experience. No advance preparation is needed. The goal of this program is to provide a program both in-person and virtual which will cover the key state and local tax issues that companies are facing.

The virtual portion will be using the Zoom platform. If your corporate firewall restricts the use of Zoom, you may join by personal device or audio.

COVID-19 Safety Protocol

By attending this COST program in-person attendees hereby agree to abide by the Bellagio Hotel and COST COVID-19 safety protocols.

COST has determined that the best and safest way to proceed with the Annual Meeting is to require all “in-person” attendees to be either fully COVID-19 vaccinated or to have had a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of the start of the meeting. For those who can’t make it to the meeting “in-person” they will have the option to participate virtually.

The Bellagio is located 15 minutes from McCarran International Airport.

Rooms have been reserved in a Council On State Taxation room block for $239 per night. Please make your reservation directly with the Bellagio. There is an additional $35 resort fee per night which includes meeting room and in-room wifi.

Permission
This program will be conducted live with no recording made available after. However, by registering for COST’s program, attendees hereby agree to allow COST to record both in person and virtually and use the recording in news media, website, publications, articles, marketing pieces, etc.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be in writing.

COST will refund 100% of registration fees for registered attendees unable to attend a COST meeting in 2021 due to their company COVID-19 travels restrictions in place at the time of the meeting.

Continuing Education

COST will assist in applying for Continuing Education credit for the 2021 Annual Meeting. 

COST is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.

There are no prerequisites for this event and the program level is intermediate. Please note that distance learning courses should be attended in an educational setting that is free from distractions.
