The Orlando resort accommodations, including 720 guest rooms and suites, as well as two- and three-bedroom villas are equipped with every modern convenience and a host of luxury amenities.  In addition to walk-out golf, guests may choose to relax in our European-style spa, dine in one of the five restaurants or enjoy 15 acres of pools and recreation activities including the 850-foot lazy river.

Complimentary scheduled shuttle transportation is provided to all four Walt Disney World® Theme Parks.  The resort is located just 25 minutes from the Orlando International Airport and 20 minutes from Universal Studios and SeaWorld.

Registration begins at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 and concludes at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2023.

This two and a half day Workshop will cover the latest property tax issues and trends companies are dealing with in 2023 and will deal with in the future – including an in-depth review of the latest developments in property tax legislation and litigation throughout the U.S.  Presenters will be leading experts in the property tax field. Only employees of COST member and non-COST member companies are invited to attend.

Cancellation Fees:

A $50 cancellation fee will be imposed for cancellations received on or before July 14, 2023; cancellations after July 14th will not be refunded.

Hotel Reservations:

Rooms have been reserved at a rate of $249 single/double (plus taxes). There is a resort fee of $20 per night which includes in room high-speed and wireless internet, 2 bottles of water, complimentary use of health club, transportation to Disney theme parks, complimentary local and 800# calls, in-room coffee and use of outdoor recreation activities. We encourage you to make your room reservations early as rooms in the COST block and hotel will sell out. Note: Thursday, July 13th is the room reservation cut-off date. Rooms at the group rate may not be available if the COST room block sells out prior to July 13th.

Continuing Education:

COST will assist you in applying for Continuing Education credit for the COST 2023 Property Tax Workshop. COST is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.


August’s average high in Orlando is in the low 90’s and the average low is in the mid to high 70’s. Dress for the conference is business casual.  We encourage you to bring a sweater or jacket to the meeting as the meeting rooms tend to be on the cooler side.
