Program:

Registration begins at noon on Tuesday, July 23rd with the opening session at 1:00 p.m. The Workshop will conclude at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24th with a cocktail reception afterwards.

The goal of this program is to provide a 1½ -day workshop which will cover the key state and local tax issues that technology companies (both start-up and established) are facing.

This Workshop is for someone with all levels of state and local tax experience. No advanced preparation is needed.

Cancellation Policy:

A $50 cancellation fee will be imposed for cancellations received on or before July 1st; cancellations after July 1st will not be refunded.  Member companies must be in good standing with COST at time of registration and time of program for employees to attend at the COST membership rate.

Continuing Education:

COST will assist in applying for Continuing Education credit for the 2019 State and Local Tax Workshop for the Tech Industry.  COST is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org. For CLE credits and more CPE information, please email [email protected]. This course is tentatively approved for 11 CPE (50 min.) hours. There are no prerequisites for this workshop and the program level is intermediate.  COST will also assist in securing CLE credits with state bar associations.

Dress:

Dress for the conference is business casual.  We encourage you to bring a sweater or jacket to the meeting as the meeting rooms tend to be on the cooler side.
