Program:
COST’s 2025 SALT Technology Workshop will be held August 13th through 14th. The Workshop will begin at 1:00 p.m. on the 13th. There will be sessions all day on the 14th, and evening receptions on both days. The Workshop will wrap up on the 14th at 6:30 p.m.
COST’s 2025 SALT Technology Workshop will cover the key state and local tax issues that all companies utilizing, interacting with or communicating with technology are facing. It is for someone with all levels of state and local tax experience. No advance preparation is needed. Only employees of COST industry member and non-COST industry member companies are invited to attend.
This course is tentatively approved for 11 CPE (50 min.) hours. There are no prerequisites for this workshop and the program level is intermediate. COST will also assist in securing CLE credits with state bar associations.

Your company must be in good standing with COST at time of registration and at time of program in order for its employees to attend at the COST Industry Member rate.
Cancellation Fees:
A $50 cancellation fee will be imposed for cancellations received on or before July 15, 2025; cancellations after July 15th will not be refunded.

Continuing Education:
COST will assist you in applying for Continuing Education credit for the COST 2025 SALT Technology Workshop. COST is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.
Weather:
August's average high in San Francisco is in high 60’s and the average low is in the high 50’s. Dress for the conference is business casual. We encourage you to bring a sweater or jacket to the meeting as the meeting rooms tend to be on the cooler side.
