COST’s 2024 SALT Workshop for the Tech Industry will be held August 14th through 15th. The Workshop will begin at 1:00 p.m. on the 14th. There will be sessions all day on the 15th, and evening receptions on both days. The Workshop will wrap up on the 15th at 6:30 p.m.
COST’s 2024 SALT Workshop for the Tech Industry will cover the key state and local tax issues that technology companies are facing. It is for someone with all levels of state and local tax experience. No advance preparation is needed. Only employees of COST member and non-COST member companies are invited to attend.
The goal of this program is to provide a 1½ -day workshop which will cover the key state and local tax issues that technology companies (both start-up and established) are facing. It is for someone with all levels of state and local tax experience. No advanced preparation is needed.
This course is tentatively approved for 11 CPE (50 min.) hours. There are no prerequisites for this workshop and the program level is intermediate. COST will also assist in securing CLE credits with state bar associations.

Cancellation Fees:
A $50 cancellation fee will be imposed for cancellations received on or before July 15, 2024; cancellations after July 15th will not be refunded.

Continuing Education:
COST will assist you in applying for Continuing Education credit for the COST 2024 SALT Workshop for Technology Companies. COST is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. August's average high in San Francisco is in high 60’s and the average low is in the high 50’s. Dress for the conference is business casual. We encourage you to bring a sweater or jacket to the meeting as the meeting rooms tend to be on the cooler side.
